  2. My wife just bought me the Sherlock Holmes complete anthology for Christmas, and I just happened to stumble on your blog post as I was searching for the best order to read the stories. I'll definitely be reading along with you all, though I'm quite new to the whole comment/discussion/review thing.

    1. That's great; glad to have you on board! The neat thing about the Sherlock Holmes series is that it can be read in nearly any order. And no worries, discussion is encouraged but not mandatory.

  5. I am very sad because I just realized that my big book of Sherlock Holmes lacks 12 short stories

    1. That's too bad...very frustrating when a collection is almost complete but not quite. :( However, if you don't mind reading digitally, I think the stories are all available online. For example, this site has links to places you can read them: http://www.sherlockian.net/canon/
